Located in beautiful central Ohio, just north of Columbus, Dogwood Training Center offers wonderful training opportunities for you and your dog. The rural setting with an indoor arena and a fence surrounding the 5 acre property provide a safe and relaxing atmosphere.
Things are changing here at Dogwood. The primary focus is now on Scent Work as the owner cuts back on teaching agility lessons and classes as she attempts to semi-retire. The wonderful arena is still set with an agility course weekly and current students are able to come work on their own. However all agility classes have ended and only a few private lessons are offered to current students. No new agility students are being accepted.
Scent work classes and occasional run thru's are now offered. At present, all Scent Work offerings are on Saturdays and are open only to Dogwood students.
Barn Hunt has also ended for now. Clinics or practices may be offered in the future but, for now, Barn Hunt is "on hold".
Canine Conditioning continues to be offered, both in person and remote. Structure and Gait Analysis is also offered, providing excellent information you may need to share with professionals if you have concerns about your dog.
With the passage of time, change happens. It's all for the best and even though fewer activities are being offered at Dogwood we are still having tons of fun with our dogs!!
